Marketplace

The marketplace is a curated catalog of ready-made building blocks you can drop into your site: full site templates, individual components, and background videos. It is the fastest way to start from something polished instead of a blank page.

Site templates

A site template is a complete set of pages — a whole starter site for a particular industry or use case (an agency, a SaaS, a restaurant, a portfolio). When you apply one:

  1. You preview it — SpiderPublish shows you the pages, navigation, and settings that would be added.

  2. You confirm, and the template's pages are cloned into your project as drafts.

  3. You edit the drafts, swap in your content and brand, and publish.

Nothing goes live until you publish and deploy, so applying a template is always safe to try.

Components

Beyond the system components, the marketplace offers a browsable library of section components — heroes, feature layouts, pricing, social proof, FAQs, footers, and more. Browse by category, preview, and insert any of them into a page.

Background videos

A catalog of short, looping background videos — nature, city, abstract, tech, and more — that you can use behind a hero or section to add motion without sourcing your own footage.

Browsing and applying

You can browse the marketplace from the dashboard, and apply templates or insert components there. Agents can do the same:

  • content_list_site_templates / content_apply_site_template — browse and apply a full starter site.

  • content_list_marketplace_components — browse the section library.

  • content_list_marketplace_bg_videos — browse background videos.

Applying a site template is a safe, preview-then-confirm action — the agent shows you exactly what will be cloned before it happens.

Tips

  • Start from a template, then make it yours. Applied pages are drafts — change the copy, images, and colors before publishing.

  • Mix and match. You can apply a template for structure and still insert individual marketplace components onto other pages.
